The capital of U.S. state of Ohio is Columbus and it is the largest city of that state. Among the cities in the American Midwest Columbus is the third largest and it is the fifteenth largest city in respect of size in United States of America. Columbus was founded in 1812 at the confluence of the two rivers Scioto and Olentangy and was assumed the functions of the capital of the state. Columbus was named after the explorer Christopher Columbus. Modern Columbus has developed to a technologically sophisticated city. World's largest private research and development foundation, namely the Battelle Memorial Institute is founded in Columbus. It is also the home of Chemical Abstracts Service and Netjets. In 2009, Columbus was named as the best place in the country to raise a family by Business Week. It is the most populous city in Ohio which is mainly because of its relatively large territory. But due to its small population density rate it is the third largest city in Ohio and the sixteenth largest city in United States. Columbus has all the facilities that a metropolitan city. Its economy is based on education, government, banking, fashion, defense, food, clothes, steel, energy, and technology. It has a well controlled transportation system, many schools, several universities, museums and places of worship. It is also a place with a number of standard cinema halls.
Columbus Ohio movie theaters are mainly known for their maintenance and keeping their standards to a desired level satisfying the customer entertainment. One of the biggest theaters is Arena Grand Theater. It is on West Nationwide Boulevard in Columbus. This theater is not crowded, has great parking facilities with a pleasant atmosphere. The appearance in the lobby is gorgeous and classy. This hall has wide spread seats, great picture and exceptional sound. Another great hall is Cinemark Movies 12 situated on Bethel Road. Here the staffs are very friendly and have great deal for the second run movies. This theater may get crowded but the atmosphere is very pleasant and classy. Although the seating arrangements are not so good but the price of the ticket is affordable. Entry fee is only a dollar. They provide reasonable concessions on popcorns and cold drinks. In one word this place is affordable, standard and a good place to hang out with friends for a buck. Another great theater for watching movie is Wexner Center for the Arts. It is situated on North High Street in Columbus. Here the admission fee is five dollar and payments are accepted through Visa, Master card and American Express. It is a breath of fresh air among the strip malls and suburbs. It was inaugurated in 1989. Since then it has been a home to several great artists and their work. This theater displays a great movie and provides a phenomenal atmosphere. They also sell several kinds of souvenirs. Studio 35 Cinema hall is another great movie theater gifted by the Columbus city other than Columbus Ohio movie theaters. It is situated on Indianola Avenue in Columbus. All ages of people can enter the movie theater. This is a cinema at its class. This movie theater has got only one screen and has only a little age, but that is the main part of fits character. It provides a great cinema experience in a great affordable price. Craft brews are rally prolific. It has got wifi and a huge lounge with full tables so that anyone can spread out. The food price is really cheap. They have got great buckets of popcorns in cheap price, each bucket worth of only five bucks and the great part is that it has got free refills. There are several other cinema movie theaters available also namely the Drexel theaters, Gateway Film Center, AMC theater etc. In Drexel Theater the price is not bad and the stuffs are also friendly. They have got a great selection of movies but the seating arrangements are not good enough. Gateway Film Center is on North High Street. It is sparkling clean and serves great foods. AMC Theater is on Kinnear road. They have comfortable seats provide good food. The staffs are very much friendly but they are erratic about cleaning the theater. Thus the Columbus Ohio movie theaters are real entertainment to the citizens of Columbus. |
